Post 4: psychology Today

For my professional blog, I chose the webpage "Psychology Today". Ever since I was twelve I've always found listening to others express themselves in ways others can't very interesting. Getting to know how others think and feel in ways you can't imagine. Post 3: Rosenberg's strategies

Rosenbergs lists multiple strategies for engaging academic text. A strategy that I use is introduction, also known as calculating the best approach. Rosenburg's cites, from (pg. 216) "The introduction serves some of the same functions as the abstract, but there is a lot more breathing room here. When I started reading academic texts, I’d breeze through the introduction to get to the 'meat' of the text. This was exactly the wrong thing to do." A strategy that I'm new to and will be using is abstract. Abstract is known as a specialized summary that answers specific questions. It is seen in database searches but can also be used in writing an essay. I will use it when the topic requires further explanation. Instead of being brief and general in my writing, depending on the topic, I will specify more details to the reader.
